C. Eric Hintz

Eric’s practice focuses on litigation. Prior to joining Shapiro Arato Bach in September 2022, Eric clerked for a federal appellate judge and a federal district judge, served as a research fellow at Penn Law’s Quattrone Center for the Fair Administration of Justice, and worked as a litigation associate at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP. Eric also serves as a Lecturer in Law at Penn Law, where he teaches federal habeas corpus. His academic work examines issues relating to criminal procedure, civil procedure, and habeas corpus, and his research has appeared in the Penn State Law Review, the Seton Hall Law Review, and the U.C. Davis Law Review Online.
