Amelia’s practice focuses on litigation. Prior to joining Shapiro Arato Bach LLP in October 2020, Amelia clerked for a federal appellate judge and was a fellowship attorney engaged in capital and juvenile life without parole litigation. Amelia’s academic work focused on psychology and criminal law. Her research has appeared in the American Journal of Criminal Law, Texas Law Review, and UCLA Law Review.
