Prior to joining Shapiro, Arato, Ms. Figueredo worked at Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP, where her practice focused on commercial litigation. While at Cravath, Ms. Figueredo represented financial institutions in litigation in connection with leveraged finance transactions, represented a telecommunications company in takeover litigation, and represented a prominent handbag manufacturer in two intellectual property disputes. Ms. Figueredo clerked for the Hon. R. Guy Cole, Jr. of the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and for the Hon. Colleen McMahon of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. Ms. Figueredo is also fluent in Spanish.
